Not something I can actually test in the demo environment, as everyone logs in with the same account.
It looks like the original author is used on every revision of a document. ie, if Arthur creates the original document, then Bob updates it, the author under Documentation Revision History for every version is always Arthur.
Ideally, the logged in account is recorded, so we know who last updated the document.
