Good morning, All,

First, I'd like to say how cool IT flow is, and I'm stoked to start using it. Some questions come to mind and finding answers has been a challenge, so I joined the Forum.

Question 1) How do you set up ticketing?

Question 2) Is there a way to bulk upload Assets?

Are there any additional "How to" documents on the initial set up and configuration of the various options?

ITFlow is cool, but I don't know, what I don't know and I struggle to find the best use-case for this software in my environment.

Apologies in advance for my noobness and thanks for whatever help you can offer.

With the limitation of not being able to use a Microsoft mailbox for ticketing I still have the same question / Issue:

ITFlow is cool, but I don't know, what I don't know, and I struggle to find the best use-case for this software in my environment.

Also I'm not clear on how to execute updates to ITFLow updates? Seems like the update button just pulls the update? Where do I run / install the update?

Maybe this will help you with the email. The solution I came up with was to forward mail from my internal address to gmail, then have ITFlow check gmail. For outbound mail, I use SMTP through Sendgrid so that it appears to come from the internal account. This is effectively transparent for users.

ITFlow is primary geared towards managed service providers, but can potentially work for internal IT teams (ish). In the absence of any detail about your environment, it is difficult to advise how you might use ITFlow.

Assuming you installed things properly, updates are just Settings > Update. It runs a git pull and then takes you through database updates, if required.

Welcome on board !

You need a mailbox which allows to use SMTP user/password in order to setup a "mail to ticket" system.
There is a way to mass import assets
Updates are done from admin portal by simply clicking on a button which triggers a GIT command.
