ITFlow and HAProxy

Hi All,

My name is Kilian Technical Director of Kobu Smart an MsP based in UK. I would like to say ITFlow exactly matches what I was looking for so long, and I am kind to say you have one of the best Ticketing system in open source for our Industry.

I have recently have an issue with Reverse proxy as I am running HAProxy with pfsense and for some reason I was not able to ping the server I create in this case a single VM with all the configuration setup. I could fixed that part but now I have a second related issue for some reason Apache service is pinging the default http config rather than the other available site is in the same VM. Is anyone can tell me how I redirect back to the path is currently hosted the web application of ITFlow? I believe for some reason went straight to messy config and I would like to know if you have guys any script to detect this kind of issues or perhaps if you could guide me where to find the gap? Thanks in advance!

Kilian099 Hi!

please make sure your vHost files are setup correctly

If you installed using the script it should be setup for you

make sure that there is no 2 vHost files that uses the same port

Hello, I use HA Proxy in front of ITFlow, and it works all ok, I didnt have to touch anything in ITFlow to work.

In my opinion there are no problems with ITFlow itself related to reverse proxys.

If you've installed using the script it assumes the VM is exposed to the Internet so there might be something wrong with the Apache HTTPS configuration.

It does sound more like an issue with the proxy not passing the host header to the ITFlow server.

Hi All,

At the end I could fix it, by moving the public_html (ITFlow created by itself), into the apache default path html… However, still don't get why Apache did this change but at the end of the day it worked. Thanks for your help!
