Login error after update

Goodmorning,

i had updated bau after i receved an error like:

what should I do?

Sounds like you're behind on database updates. What version is your database?

Try temporarily replacing login.php with this version and seeing if that let's you login enough to run updates: itflow-org/itflowblob/19dc33a836bf64a0efa4fca971b71089ff478828/login.php

I'm trying to update from 1.5.3 to latest version, after I put you login.php in previus post I got this error in php, and login page still reappears and does not move to home page.

I guess you need to use an old version of check_login.php as well

You really shouldn't update files without updating the database at the same time.

Thank you, it works, but I don't understand how to update the system, so how to implement database update without git commit?

Settings > Update

It pulls down the files via git and then updates the database too

Yes, that's what I did today, but after pulling down the files via git I was not able to access them in my site.

The updated files referenced fields new in the database. We added the database fields a while ago and give people a chance to update but if you're going to wait 2 months between updates, you'll run into issues like this.

This doesn't happen too often, but its best to stay as close as possible to our master branch. We're hopefully moving to a more structured release model in the near future, but it'll slow development a little.

In settings > Update i notice this error:

WARNING: Could not find execute 'git fetch'.

Error details:- fatal: not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git

Things to check: Is Git installed? Is the Git origin/remote correct? Are web server file permissions too strict?
Seek support on the Forum if required - include relevant PHP error logs & ITFlow debug output

So how did you install ITFlow? Because the server thinks it wasn't via cloning the git repo.
