Is there any documentation on installing this on a windows server?

has anyone tried installing this on a Windows server? is this strictly for ubuntu?

fork2023 The documented installation is for linux. The app, however, is standard PHP like wordpress. You can use anything from local by flywheel to IIS to get it running. Using Windows to run web apps is fine for ASP, but not recommended for anything else.

Just to mirror what others have said: I run my dev system on Windows with WAMP with ~90% feature functionality. You will struggle with some things though as we assume you're running Linux; I have to push most of my updates to a Linux dev box to test properly.

Yeah I a`gree with you felix for production and community support I would recommend ubuntu or some form of Linux OS. Id your using windows Server and its all your got on site you can spin up an Ubuntu VM in HyperV no problem and it shouldn't use very many resources either.
