I also have some suggestions for improving the documentation of racks.
It would be cool if I could document several devices on one height unit.
Sometimes you have a 19 inch shelf in the rack with 2 small NAS on it?
It would be cool if you could edit the documented devices in the rack later to change the position, maybe by drag and drop?
-> Currently I would have to delete the device and reposition it in the rack
I also feel that as soon as the devices extend over one height unit, it looks like there are several identical devices on top of each other in the rack instead of one.
I am attaching an example of a documented QNAP NAS.
For me it currently looks like I have 4x QNAP NAS on top of each other in this rack
