Popping future tickets

I had a problem with tickets not popping in the past and you gave me this slick script on https://forum.itflow.org/d/1244-popping-tickets which fixed the issue.

Will the same script work to pop tickets from the future? The 20th is a holiday so computers will be idle and I would rather update during the day than at night or a weekend. AND it is a hundred and two tickets that I would have to wait until the 24th for them to open so I could update and close.

I've just tested that script for future tickets and it does still seem to work OK for future tickets when I update the $date_to_run_from parameter

Note that you can now force recur individual tickets in the app too, it would be nice to make this a bulk action for your use case.

@wrongecho Thank you. I didn't realize that 'Force Reoccur' had been added to the individual Recurring Tickets. But, I don't spend a lot of time in that section.

Further looking, it is only in the parent 'Recurring Tickets'. If you go into a client / Recurring Tickets it is not there. If you are looking at an asset / Recurring Tickets it isn't there either.

If at some point in the future it could be added, I would guess more people than me would love it.

Had a chance to try it yesterday and it popped the 102 tickets that would have dropped on the 24th.

Fantastic, you're welcome!!

As things evolve the custom script will slowly become outdated. Hopefully we can integrate bulk force recur natively into the app at some point in the near future.

I know Johnny has added single force recur to some of the missing places you flagged for 25.1 - it's just around the corner now, likely this weekend after some more testing 🙂
