Feature Request: Default contact for billing on "Invoices"

Hello,

In my IT flow for a "Company" I now use the Invoicing with ITFlow we love it but may I ask if it is already possible to make invoices go to a particular contact?

For example, right now when I make an invoice for a company at first it was going to the primary contact but there is another contact in there marked as billing but when viewing the invoice it has the primary contact's email on it.

Does it also go to billing or must the billing person be "Primary" I notice if I change them to it then ITFlow puts the correct billing person on the invoice.

Just want to see the best way to approach that or if this is a feature request?

Hey Mike!

Someone has to ultimately be the figurehead for a client, maybe this concept doesn't scale well in very large companies but ITFlow was built initially around smaller MSPs.

The primary contact is the default for everything, but billing contacts also get copies of the invoice emailed to them. Billing contacts can also see quotes/invoices in the portal. You could create a dummy primary contact if they're really disliking the volume of emails they get.

Note that I believe the invoice itself only mentions the client details, rather than the specific person (edit: apparently just shows the primarys email…hmm).

Thanks for the response, so from what I understood actually what would be best for me is the usual primary contact who has no issues getting all of the emails can be set back to primary.

But the person marked as billing still gets a copy of the invoice it just doesn't show their email on the invoice itself as that is the primary person that goes on there at least. Correct?

Correcto, It might be good to remove the contact email from the invoice and just show client details.
