No Pages visible after Update

Evening all i have a similar issue as what coming up on this thread, Login loops back to login page since update of 25.03.3 - ITFlow Forum

Yes i ran the update logged in Gui before checking in forums. Tried cli_update as well. and git pull

I have login screen and can authenticate and Im dumped to the clients.php, page and i'm unable to view anything

As i just start using the product i didn't have much loaded in terms of clients and documentation so no i did not have backup.

the apache error logs showing Undefined array key "user_role_id" in /var/www/html/itflow/login.php

Parsed log through copilot and got the following response.

Any suggestions? I'm not adverse to redoing the database from scratch just need to be pointed to how to do it properly. if that is what needs to be done, unless there is a better alternative.

I would try running both update_cli.php and update_cli.php --update_db again in that order if you haven't already. I'm not sure without manually trying to fix the database. I did this for a sponsor and it took me quite a while.

The other thing I could suggest is that you dump your database as it is now and then perform a clean install of ITFlow. Then just copy across all the tables except the user's and user settings tables.

This is starting to get a little on my nerves now. There is a giant banner before the update button on the web ui that says to take a backup before updating. The docs also say to take a backup before and after updating. Countless things can go wrong during updates, having a backup is kinda essential. Don't check the forum before updates, just take a snapshot - ideally in addition to nightly VM backups.
