As you suggest, any changes to the ITFlow core code would need to make sense for the project as a whole. We do prioritise feature requests raised by our sponsors, assuming they are in scope, but we don't have any sort of feature bounty program or anything similar at the moment.
If a change is out of scope for ITFlow, we're not against assisting or writing custom code for you for a fee but that does make things a lot more complicated to maintain (depending on the change, you might have to end up on your own branch which would need ongoing maintenance to stay current). At the moment, we don't really have much free time for that sort of work. Our main priorities are making ITFlow better for everyone to use and supporting sponsors with any issues that arise in their supported configurations.
