FR - Recurring Billing Custom NET/DUE

We send our managed recuring clients an invoice on the 15th with the due date of the 1st.

Having a custom recuring invoice due date feature would be nice (custom net terms,) but i would love the ability to bake in a set date for payment/due date.

Would also be beneficial to have a checkmark to take payment when the bill is generated instead of on the due date.

Activate auto pay and select stripe from the drop-down

This will automatically charge saved payment method when invoice is created from recurring

Normally we send our recuring invoices out on the 15th, due last day of the month, auto charge on due date.

digibandit Ahh, I assume this thread is what this reply was in reference to?

Currently you can't change it, payment is automatically taken when the recurring invoice is generated via Cron. It's potentially something we could tweak?

wrongecho 100% this is what i was referring to.

Charging on generation means no change to review it.

We generate on the 15th, bill on the last day of the month, we also allow customers to pay early if they choose to do so.

The current defaults terrify me and are guaranteed to cause some issues, if nothing else then for my flow.

totally agree with you on reviewing before auto paying.

Net terms calculates the invoice due date based off the invoice date automatically.

While it took us a few weeks we just finished implementing automatic payment on invoice due date instead of auto paying when invoice is generated from recurring invoices. Still need some extensive testing before we push out a release so maybe a good week for testing
