FR - Client Side Roles

It appears that you can make your own and edit roles at the administrative level and you can apply those roles to other admins, however having those custom roles available to managed clients would be beneficial to prevent over privileged users like when you just want them to be able to view information and not edit. Example: Intern Technician needs to view the Technician section but should not be able to edit information (Currently can't view section without the role).

Hey @kitking Ciient User Roles are deff in the plan. The foundation for it is there now we just have to build it out but deff requies long careful planning as we dont want to introduce any security issues.

There is no set timeline for completing user roles (or for most things to be honest), but it is something I am trying to make time to work on. I have been fairly busy lately, so have ended up focusing more on the Forum as it's something I can do easily from my phone between my actual day job.

Just to share some stats:

There have been 589 forum posts since the start of June
The May release had a total of 727 files changed
The June release was a lot less at 165 files changed, but even if we said ~35 mins work a file (there is always thinking & testing time, regardless of the change), that's ~96 hours in a month, so at least a good 20 hours a week work on the project.

wrongecho To preface, I could bitch about paradise but at no point am I complaining about how much or fast you do anything, you guys are legends in my books.

I quite literally have an assistant working ~4hrs a day getting familiar with and documenting ITFlow to help get the t's and i's sorted so you and @johnny can keep pumping out that good good.
