jtmoore81 Is there a way to convet a quote that a client accepts and converts it to an invoice. This way it doesn't have to be re-created? It would be great if the client approved the quote it would convert it to an invoice.
johnny Hey @jtmoore81 This is already possible. Once the Quote has been accepted then when you click into the quote you will see an Invoice button at the top which will convert the quote to an invoice and change the status of the quote to invoiced.
kameleon johnny Would it be possible to have a workflow similar to invoiceninja where when a quote is sent to a client they have the option to approve it. Once approved the invoice is automatically generated and they can pay right then. It would take some of the leg work out of having to have staff go in and do it manually.
johnny @digibandit thats very true especially in the MSP world and really thinking back about this, this is why we never implemented automatic invoicing after acceptance. So yes going forward this should remain in manual control
digibandit johnny Which is to say, i'd still support the option to enable this per quote. Maybe the QUOTE type can auto convert to an invoice while a QUOTE that is toggled into an ESTIMATE becomes a DRAFT QUOTE? idk
