Quote/Invoice - Sub Items / Grouping

Just like we can drag and drop line items, i want to be able to nest them.

Eg, each part of a computer is an inventory item, all those parts together go under a 'build' parent line item with all inventory items dragged as a child to said parent line item.

That would be awesome! we can even take it a step further and add child items into the parents total. That way if there is multiple products with multiple parts on the same invoice its easy to track and calculate the totals.

kitking Then hide the child item prices and just show qty for bundle deals and packages.

I wish this was a non time consuming task, also sounds very simple on paper but would require quite a bit of rewriting of the invoice system and how we handle invoice items and then everything that trickles down from that so I wouldnt expect this anytime soon, but deff a neato feature for sure

johnny If we ignore the price adding crap and keep that all manuall for now, how difficult would it be to allow visually child/parent items.
