Change Management - Software Advisory Template

I realize this might be a bit of an edge case, does anybody on this forum track software advisories against client assets?

Case in point, we received advisory 2025-046 a couple of months ago regarding SonicWall products.

Because it will touch multiple assets across multiple clients it becomes a project to be managed.

Now I have to go through each of my clients assets to find possibly affected devices, bulk create tickets to be added individually back to the not-tied-to-a-client project to track the progress.

As the work is done, the tickets are updated and closed appropriately.

Because it will happen again, could something like this be templated?

JosephWithCOR This can be templated with n8n. Use the asset read API connected to an if node connected to a ticket write API.

@felix I would rather not be depended upon an external piece of software because this should be doable within the existing framework.

As it exists now, this functionality is about 50% implemented.

I have created a project template "SonicWALL Advisory", and several ticket templates pointing at each of my clients with the asset name in the template title. However, this requires a lot of editing to correct the subject line and add contact, location, asset, vendor, and vendor ticket number for each of the created tickets.

If we could get some additional fields in the template modal, it would save a bunch of typing.

Bonus, from the asset view, show any linked templates.
