Vendor Template

I think I have a problem with the vendor templates and would like to know if you agree.

I have several vendors that I use for multiple customers.

As things stand at present, I would have to add each individual vendor to the customer via the template. Previously, I also entered all the vendors in the admin area for templates.

Somehow, I think that's double work.

I would prefer to maintain a list of vendors per ITFlow instance instead of per customer + template, if applicable.

I hope I was able to explain this reasonably well.

@jonash I believe that is by design. Templates (currently only vendor) ultimately give us a single place to update all linked items.

Because not all clients use all vendors, not every vendor template needs to be linked.

Personally, if I can make a template for something, I do. Even if it is currently only in use on a single client. Because someday I might need it for another.

I am hoping vendor templating, specifically the ability to update all linked items from the template, is extended to licenses and assets someday.
