Exact Date and Time in Comments

I noticed in tickets that the comments only display a relative timestamp (for example "4 months ago") instead of the exact date and time when the comment was posted.

Is it possible to show the full date and time for each comment? This helps u a lot with traceability.

It shows it if you hover over it.

I remember this is another one of those that went back and forth because some people have a preference of the exact date, and others have a preference of the "nice" date.

I understand. For me personally it would be a "Nice to have" indeed. I prefer always seeing the exact time/date. But now I know that is also possible by hovering over it, it allready is a lot easier finding the exact time/date 👍

If it gets more interest we could add it as an option but I am really against having every single feature being customisable to the ends of the earth - it's just so much work to maintain. Ultimately, these personal preferences come a point where we just have to say "This is how it is" and you can either accept it or run your own fork that does it how you like 😉

I think most apps now show both the human time (ago) and the real date and time below it in a gray text where its applicable, not everything deserves human time (ago)
