File Size Limits for Files

Is there a documented file size limit? Trying to upload around 100 pictures. Some upload no problem, others act like they do but never show up. The only thing I can think of is there a file size limit that I don't know about.

We set a hard limit of 20MB we are open to suggestions maybe 1GB?

Let me know we can make adjustments then push an update out today or tomorrow

I'm not seeing the 20MB limit.

So far I've seen the files fail to upload if they are above 1.5MB (.jpeg/.docx/.zip). No error message, it acts as if they upload, but never show up (at least in the GUI).

Fresh install with Ubuntu 22.

Hi davesmith87 There is also a limit set by php default to 2MB

edit the /etc/php/php.ini

and change the following values to:

upload_max_filesize = 20M

post_max_size = 20M

You will have to restart apache when complete or restart the server

We just updated to allow 500MB max upload in code, you will also need to increase php limits as well

Is it worth adding this (PHP upload limits in /etc/php/php.ini) to the setup guide and/or script?

Yes, I think a note in the guide would be well worth it about having to modify php.ini.
