Just to know if I'm right? This gettext extension generates a .po and .mo files in english. Then we just need to translate the .po files?

Hi @iguannaweb We're holding off on translations at the moment. Firefox has come a long way with locally processed Translations, so this may be an unnecessary move going forward.

Hi @johnny I understand that browser translations are here to stay but i think it's a good core upgrade (maybe it's me that I don't use it). But I undestand it's a lot of work for now. I'm interested in colab if help is needed to make the hard work. I think cover english and spanish, will be good for the project (and for me haha). I think I'm lost a little on the base implementation but if the gettext implementation is done, I can work on translations (on _('string to translate) changing), so, let me know when needed for spanish translation.

I suggest that an option to choose the language be implemented. In the case of French, we propose to do so.

Hi guys, I think as many here the translation is a big awaiting feature request. I hope there will be something in the near future. I'm willing to help to translate it into german. The issue is as mentioned while we can do manual translation in the files after an upgrade it would be overwritten again. I'm not a programmer but I encountered some translations in other projects where there is a file and the text on the left is the original english text and on the right the translation like "Sign in;Anmelden". Thanks for your efforts!

Hey, we still don't have any app logic that would support translation. It's not a priority for me personally.

We come from Germany and think your system is very good.

Is there a way to customize the system language?

At least for the automatically generated emails.

We don't want our customers to have English answers to tickets etc.

The language in Brazilian Portuguese is not working, no matter how much I configure it, it does not work.
