Any update on Microsoft Oauth support

I'm trying to get email setup to work with my m365 account. I've discovered by looking through the forum that this isn't currently possible and will follow the workaround of forwarding emails to a gmail account. But I'd like to get this working properly without the workaround. Is this on the near future roadmap or is this a far off objective?

Has anybody got this working using the guide or other instructions - i've been through this afew times and can't get it to work.

I've used M365 oauth with other apps/services before so i'm familiar with the process app registration process.

I'm using a work around atm as well forwarding to a gmail account.

i just stumbled upon this.

i was able to somewhat get it configured, but its not sending any email out yet and ive been playing with the settings for around 3-4 hours now.

So, I may have a bit of an update. I forked the project and did some digging and it looks like the api calls were pointing to office.com and not office365.com. I updated them and on a test instance running on WSL it worked for outbound email through o365. Inbound imap still not working on my test rig but I'll keep plugging away at it and see if I can get it PR ready.

Ok, This is working, the code changes I've made to get it working are here: itflow-org/itflow704595a

I will be adding some helper functions soon to fix a bug I found during my testing for some character encoding issues. This is not ready for production, but could be pulled into the dev branch soon if it is acceptable code. I'm almost certain it fixed one bug and made five more lol.

OK, @johnny, I got this working after spending a few days on it. I should have done it this way to begin with. I saw the task that you were wanting to implement ImapEngine after my first pass at this problem. This needs to be tested elsewhere, but I got it working here on my dev VM. There may be some issues still with the initial setup of ImapEngine with composer. I'll look at it again tomorrow and make sure it works on a clean install, and if it doesn't, fix the plugin component so it's ready to pull.
