Asset Status Categories

Possible bug
When I changed the Asset Status category, specifically deployed to something else and changed the color, the asset overview still says deployed until I manually change it to the new status and the color still remains gray.

Thanks for flagging. Kinda a bug but also expected due to the way this has been implemented by recording the actual status text rather than the reference ID.

I think the only real way to fix this is to swap asset states like we did for ticket states. Will be a decent uplift on the database, UI & post-handling, CSV processing and API.

I solved the change, via bulk action.

The only thing that doesn't work for me is the colors, but those aren't fully implemented yet, I guess.
