Email to Ticket w/ Images?

Is the ticketing system designed to attach pictures to the tickets? If not we definitely need that feature implemented asap. I would consider that to be absolutely crucial.

A client sent in a picture and it did not get added.

We are working on HTML emails from the client which will support screenshots that are pasted into emails. It only works the other way around if you copy and paste a picture in a ticket in the ITFlow app the clients email will get it. We are running into some issues implementing it and its totally on the high priority list.

However in the meantime file attachments are currently implemented so a client could attach a file to an email like a screenshot jpg ,png file etc

Also if the client logs into the client portal they should be able to easily copy and paste a picture into a ticket reply there.

So we had a ticket where the client attached an image and it did not appear in ITFlow at all. as an attachment or in the ticket itself.

Im going do some testing on my side to see if I can replicate it.

Do you know what type of image it was (jpg, png, tiff) and possibly how big the image was?

It should still be in the mailbox where ITFlow monitors tickets

I tried from several client but was not able to replicate

What is your php upload limit set to? maybe it could be a file size issue

Support for attachments was added a while back: https://github.com/itflow-org/itflow/pull/665

Inline images and attached images/files should show up in the ticket.

As Johnny said, any details about the specifics would be helpful as it sounds like more of a bug under certain conditions.
