Sharing Files with non-contacts

Is it possible to change it that a file can be shared with any contact, not just contacts of a client? Mainly, I am the admin of IT Flow and I have several clients, but I cant share anything with those contacts, I can only see contacts under my own client. Is this by design for some reason?

Hi @smcs yes currently this is by design but I can see your use case scenario, we'll add a custom contact option as well sometime this week

That would be awesome! Appreciate the fast response and always working with us. I know all of these requests daily are rough to get through, but I love the fact that you all take these into consideration and how it may or may not benefit the product. I absolutely love this product and after speaking with you a few weeks ago, I finally put it into production and adding all of my clients information in to it.

It was initially implemented so you just got a link to share yourself. Shouldn't be too hard to add a "custom" email option (as all selecting the contact does is send the email - the link itself isn't actually linked direct to the contact).
