Client Management - Initials / Identification shortcode / abbreviation

Awful title but, I think the client management section should allow you to store the client initials/shorthand/abbreviated identifier.

Say I have a client called Acme Systems Inc with a web server, we'd typically identify these as ASI-WEB01, with ASI naturally standing for Acme Systems Inc.

It would be nice if we could have a custom field to store "ASI" in, for use in other parts of the app. Thoughts?

I have a function called initials that may take care of this. Its already used for when you under client details on the top left side bar it shows the initials of the client.

This php function should do the trick and it it does it quite intelligently.

An "intelligent" way of shortening a client name would likely involve preserving the essence of the name, such as taking the initials of a multi-word name or considering the uniqueness of certain characters.

johnny I created a client called "Klein's Grocery" and for some reason the ID Shortcode is K0S is that the way it suppose to be?

ohh I see it replacing ' with 0 this is a bug
