Tasks would be a great addition to the tickets (not sure if you have ever used ConnectWise Manage, but at a former MSP job we used it as well as another company I currently do work with and tasks can all be added into the ticket and resources assigned to them and time entries added to the specific tasks).
We would setup ticket templates in which when you selected particular fields when creating the ticket it would pre-populate the ticket with certain verbiage and add the tasks that had been defined in a template.
Example: New Hire/User Onboarding, we would select that from the templates and it would add a prebuilt list of tasks we could check as they were completed. Makes a nice way to ensure consistency in the way certain things are done.
