Add ability to pre-assign scheduled ticket

Just got scheduled tickets working from https://forum.itflow.org/d/452-adding-crontab-and-scheduling-tickets.

It was auto-linked to the primary contact. Not assigned to anyone.

Feature request: I would like the ability to make the contact on a scheduled ticket to that guy, not default to the primary contact.

Feature request: Auto-assign a technician to a scheduled task.

For example: I want to create a scheduled task to run weekly for psiiota to do a code review and wrongecho to be the contact. As it stands, johnny would be the contact and the ticket is assigned to nobody.

Much to my chagrin, I discovered if you are in a client when you create a scheduled ticket you can assign the contact.

Could we add to the edit scheduled ticket screen the ability to reassign the contact? Currently, I would have to delete the scheduled ticket and recreate it to change the contact from Johnny to JosephWithCOR.

I've raised a PR that allows you to edit the contact on an existing scheduled ticket: itflow-org/itflow793

We should be able to borrow code from the ticket creation window to allow the contact to be selected in the main scheduled ticket creation page.

I also really like the idea of pre-selecting a technician, we'll just need to add some logic around what happens if that tech no longer exists/unassign all scheduled tickets if a tech account is disabled.

Came into 63 unassigned tickets this morning. If we can't pre-assign a ticket, how about bulk assign?

Oh wow that is quite a few tickets sparked from the recurring tickets for one day. You are a busy guy =]

I agree with you on the bulk assigning of tickets.

The problems I see with pre-assign would be if the tech left and was archived or the tech is on vacation speaking for General usage

with this is mind i'm bumping up the priority for bulk assigning tickets as this seems to be the most logical approach, I will make this a focus for this week

Its the verify monthly updates and other end of month tasks that hit overnight. I have to be able to prove per machine. Otherwise I would conveniently forget to do them…

My two cents

Tech leaving prior to archiving - Prompt: There are a number of tasks / scheduled tasks assigned - How would you like to reassign them? This client to that tech? That client to this tech? Probably a bulk select option to show a box, select tickets, assign to drop down, ARE YOU SURE?, commit.

Vacation - Since there is no time tracking it would be up to the tech's supervisor to monitor.

Thinking about the backend voodoo and front-end UI magic, I am amazed at the progression!

Also we now have bulk actions for contacts and assets such as changing location, changing computer Status, changing assigned computer, changed office number useful if multiple contact share a number but have different extensions
