I think it'd be helpful if there was a function to quickly create and close/auto-close a ticket. This may be part of the normal ticket flow, or a separate slimmed down modal that allows for time tracking, etc.
The main use case I see for this would be when you're doing on-site work and just need to log changes for audit/billing purposes (e.g. a users manager does the "whilst you're here" could you give X access to Y shared mailbox).
The form could just be something like:
- Client
- Contact
- Subject
- Description
- Work notes
- Time logged
- Button to set ticket to closed/auto-close status
