Archived documents and services

Hello,

When editing a service, archived documents are included in the list available to be linked to a service. Is this by design?

Hey!

Thanks for the bug report.

We recently changed documents so that previous versions are kept, but archived. We need to adjust the Services:

Only show unarchived documents
Automatically use the latest version of a document when a document is updated

This is partially complete, When adding a service -- related content that is archived will not be shown.

Still need to tackle the edit and view.

@lkj - Would you mind sharing how you're using Services? Telemetry shows there's not a huge uptake so I'm keen to learn more!

Hey, I've only just started using itflow. Keen to look at services though as I'm working in an environment where the relationship between assets, vendors and everything really is key. Having the single view of what's linked to a service (AD, authentication, remote access, etc) is a big time saver.

Thanks for the quick reply on this as well. I was going to send a patch for it - good to see it's already resolved 🙂
