Invoice multiple category selection

Hi, sometimes invoices/quotes etc. could include more then 1 category in it
I want to be able to specify more then 1 category of an invoice/quote etc.
can you make it possible to select multiple categories using select2 multiple

unfortunately its not that simple as the categories are related to income categories and for proper accounting this needs to be proper so I cant mix Service and the selling of assets under the same invoice it will throw off the Profit Loss Income Categories as tangible items are taxable goods and service is not.

The only way around this is to select a category for each item on the invoice which will be a huge undertaking, but is doable.

johnny I looked it over and I saw that "Products" are also getting categorized with the same categories as invoices
I think that categorizing a net sale twice is not necessary and confusing.

So I think it makes most sense to strip away categories from invoices and relate the accounting aspect to products directly, like this I think accounting would be much more accurate as it actually relates to an item/service that has been sold and not to an invoice that may contain multiple categories in it

Bigbug This is the way. That way we can have 1 invoice that has hardware, and the labor associated. That is 2 different categories.

This would take a huge amount of reworking to associate the income category per item on an invoice.

Although Likely a 2.0 thing for sure
