Request for ability to create Quote/Invoice in multiple currencies

Right now, ITFlow Quote/Invoice modules can only create a quote in the native currency that the Company is created in. However, there is usually the case where Quote/Invoice will be made in other currencies such as USD, EUR, JPY.

Having the ability to select the Quote/Invoice currency would be very helpful.

The future ability to possibly integrate with a Currency API (5,000 free monthly requests) like FreeCurrencyApi.com would make the Quote/Invoice modules extremely valuable.

This can get quite confusing, and will require a huge undertaking It is best to always charge in your own company currency then use a payment provider like strip to do the conversion at the payment provider level.

But deff sometime in the future I would like to advance to multiple currencies and conversions etc

Hi @johnny thanks for chiming in. I understand it can look confusing, I was just sharing my use case (ie. In the maritime sector, USD is often kept onboard in cash for at-port payments, and many shipping companies pays their suppliers via USD bank transfer, only local clients will pay my company in the local currency SGD) which I see may be a similar condition faced by other MSPs who operate outside USA (thus have a local currency) but may invoice some clients in USD (ie. Online software license sales).

I am taking some time to dive deep into ITFlow modules these few days by furthering the documentation of some clients and using the other modules to see how they all interlock and function together in order to provide feedback and to continue writing the ITFlow documentation.
