PHP Memory Limit Override - Calendar disappears - Paginate Calendar Monthes

After one of the last update, my calendar disappeared. Just a blank white page. It's maybe a solution for this?

Hey @mikev Clear your cookies and browser cache and check for updates again just to make doubly sure. It possible it your browser is holding onto old static JS Data from the old FullCalendar JS Library

Small update: Calendar is visible from client side, entries match; main view is "white". Strange…

also give me a little bit info about your setup

MySQL or MariaDB and version:
Method of Install (eg By Script, Manual etc)

I was able to solve the problem “by myself”

The Problem was default script memory limit - memory_limit=128M

Changed to 256 and calendar ist back 😀

Nice find @mikev. We have not run into any memory limit issue before. I'm guessing you have a lot of calendar events.

The thing is all calendar events get loaded into memory upon loading the calendar. We will need to somehow properly paginate on the backend by month to prevent this. Im going to relabel this thread and mark this as a bug, as this can start to become a problem in the near future.

johnny This was something I attempted to incorporate into the calendar, but the cal plugin we use does not support this, sadly. I was trying to find a way to limit the output in PHP, but never found a satisfactory solution.

The problem has start by ticket number 50 - 60, that not a lot. The Point is, all of them have a lot of notes, from few users - maybe that’s the problem? Anyway, I'm glad I could help with something 😉

I think the best solution is to find another calendar plugin that would better work our needs imo.

The problem is back on my side. After creating another ~100 tickets, the calendar disappeared again.

what happens if you bump your memory up again, lets say 512

Sorry for the delays… to much work. 512 olved the problem for a while, which has just returned, the same goes for scaling images 😐
