Interface Bug - Picture size block the invoice button

Hello, and happy Easter

There has been an interface bug since one of the last updates. In some tickets, photo inside the description does not scale, which causes the interface to fall apart and the Invoice button is inactive. In my case, this applies to 3 tickets.

I will be grateful for help in solving the problem

Just to confirm here, does the occur on ticket replies too if there is a large image - or just on the description section?

So far I have only observed the problem in the description section. I think the answers are resistant.

Is there any alternative option to find the file (picture - .jpg) that scales badly and manually replace it with a smaller file? I need to find at least a temporary solution.

Hey @mikeie Im not able to replicate with large pictures in my ticket they all scale down based off window size, what Browser are you using and any security privacy plugins enabled?

It's the same situation in any browser. Testet on macOS: Safari, Firefox a Chrome, Windows with Firefox and Chrome. The same on Safari iPadOS. Standard security settings, no plugins.

as I mentioned earlier - the error affects only a few tickets, the majority scales correctly… now I don't know what to do with them. The tickets are closed, impossible to invoice, or move.

As a quick workaround, what happens if you right click > inspect element > delete the image and then try to invoice?

Are you able to copy the picture into a new ticket to reproduce? If so, and you're willing to share over a private message, we can try to reproduce and patch.

OK. I know what's the problem…

Deleting the item in inspector did not help
The Problem is: itflow does not support .HEIC files created by iphones 15. If you try to drag and drop such a file with the mouse (macOS Finder), a no-support sign appears. But: macOS supports the function "insert iPhone/iPad photo" - which activates the camera on the iPhone and, after taking a photo, puts it in directly in pre-selected place (e.g.: itflow ticket description field). The situation is repeatable only on mac + iPhone. The file itself cannot be added manually. I'm attaching some screen shots, as well as the aforementioned photo.

Of course, I already know how to avoid the problem, but I do not know how to solve the problem of 3 unbillable tickets.

After the latest update, the situation has changed a bit. The missing interface appears on the non-scalable image, but it is still non-clickable

Thanks for the additional info. This is an interesting edge case!

I did think inspect element would do the trick. Try to edit the tickets manually in the database instead: Use phpMyAdmin or Mariadb command line, navigate to the tickets table, locate the ticket via its ID, adjust the ticket details field to not include the image.

For a long term fix: If you are able to reproduce this on the demo and link the ticket ID, we might be able to look into it further.
