@evolan it depends. for now this alert update will show only when the cron.php runs, so it depends on your cron time schedule.
In the future, we can improve this to check updates in other forms but cron.php , so it can be like "realtime" when push updates
example: my cron.php runas at midnight, so if an update is released today before this midnight, the notification wont be shown, only will show after this midnight
