certain domain names cause 500 error

If I go to a client and enter their domain name abc.com

I get

This page isn’t working

server.domain.com is currently unable to handle this request.

HTTP ERROR 500

if I change the domain name to abc123.com it works.

Hey there,

Your post is a little ambiguous. I can add abc.com as a domain record within a client on the demo without issue.

Could you please share step by step instructions to replicate this on the demo instance?

lets says clients domain is abc.com

i created the new client then under Documentation > Domains. I create a new domain. All I will add is the domain name, other fields are blank. when I press save it takes a few seconds then i get the page isnt working. If i press the back button and put in a random domain it works. Not sure why it doesnt like to correct domain name.

I eventually got it to work by typing the domain name in notepad and doing a copy and paste. Next time this happens i will create video clip .

If you go on the demo site and click on Yolo corp. I just tried adding google.com to the domains and same error.

Oh I see. It only seems to be broken for certain domains or TLDs, interesting.

@johnny I suspect this is related to the recent change in grabbing the expiration date. Can you take a look please?

Hi @PhotonGeek we just pushed out a fix. We needed to add some space trimming and return a proper null if expire is not found, please report any other problems with domains, but this update should do the trick.
