Feature Implemented: Network / Server Rack Documentation

Hey this is a feature I requested for myself to document client server racks, hopefully others will find this as useful as I will.

There is more to come. You will soon be able to Document Items in the Rack Units including linking existing assets to a rack's unit.

Also Patch Panel Documentation will be arriving soon

Suggestions and improvements are welcome =]

Looks good Johnny, I see there doesn't appear to be any way to delete or archive a rack.

This is exciting. I'd love to be able to replace my meticulous spreadsheets for my patch panels. Having a rack reference for my locations would be great as well. Thanks for everything!

A note on the rack units, though: could we have non-asset data in those slots? I wouldn't normally create an asset for carrier equipment, but I still want to identify it. And also account for 1U/2U/3U items and specify which specific units those take up.

This is so cool!

We have a lot of 2U appliances and even some 4U stuff out there, so a way to doc those to actually properly "fill" the documented racks here would be fantastic. See example below:

Would also be cool to log which devices are plugged in where - something to the effect of showing lines between U's to battery backup/PDUs

UPDATE: You now add and remove Custom Devices or Linked Asset Devices to the Rack units

Also it if the Unit is occupied it will state unit is occupied and not add the device to the unit
