Typically the US is way behind in consumer laws. Typically the US will follow but will take them many years of people fighting.

Example Apple and the App Store and Apple IOS default apps wasnt a thing in the US but was in the UK now its a thing in the US.

johnny I agree 🙂 think if you can work out how to add a product to add a % to the invoice instead of forcing anyone to possible to pass the fees on. Some businesses like us don't mind the fees as it takes money of our tax bill.

redrose-charlie It is technically legal in the UK for strictly B2B (as I understand it). I'm more just morally against the concept.

The poll has now ended and a global limit idea won! This is probably what we'll go with and we can build on that as appropriate.

I'm against it as well, when we build our quotes we always built in our costs defo for processing fees, even for bank transfer, direct debit.

Speaking of morality… do you know that in NY (at least) if you wanna pay a traffic/parking violation with a card there is a few dollars "Convenience fee"

Maybe we just do a "Convenience fee"?

its difficult to know how someone will pay maybe a 'fees' feature where you can specify a fee (% or $) if paid by card (if allowed for that region) to be added to the invoice otherwise the price is as quoted if paid in cash/check/other non card methods.
