Just tried to pull updates and received the following message from https://itflow.server.domain/admin_update.php

You are not permitted to do that!
Tell your admin: Your role does not have admin access.

I am the admin and have been since I installed the software

What is even stranger, I hit the back arrow button and received the Upgrade Successful message.

Hi @JosephWithCOR we just added custom roles to the code. It should have corrected itself once you updated the DB since the DB update creates the necessary roles after the git update. We just shot out another update can you verify if it goes okay this time around.

There wasn't a database update. Just tried again and it blasted right through.

Hey @JosephWithCOR

I am 99% sure that you can disregard this. We're doing lots of work on permissions to allow making things customisable.

The check for if a user is an admin was added and enforced in the same commit. Because this checks a session variable, you were technically not an admin on the initial update page load. Once you reloaded the page, the new code sets the correct session variable and your admin permissions would have been applied again.

Also i have tried to restore my virtual maschine with a backup before 2 days, and trying now to do the update but having the same problem.

I see what's happened here - separate to @JosephWithCOR's issue (in a way). We pushed a database update a few days ago that relies on this. He had updated & you hadn't. Currently we show files updates before DB updates meaning you get the new code that checks if you're admin before the schema (we should swap this around…).

I've pushed a fix via itflow-org/itflow1065 for now. If you SSH into your server, navigate to the ITFlow web directory and run a git pull, it'll sort itself out and you'll be able to do the database update needed. Sorry for the inconvenience!

@wrongecho hey, it is an open source Software and you do a really cool Job. As well if have restored my VM and run the update after your fix is done. Well it works and all is fine, it could be solved.
