CalDAV Integration

There is an issue in github: #31

In the Readme you have: Roadmap / Future to-do -> "CalDAV to integrate with 3rd party calendars" and "CardDAV to integrate with 3rd party Address books"

I use Baikal server and integrating my events, tasks and notes would be great. I've been waiting for this feature for a long time so I've a question:

Is there a known implementation date for this feature?

This is definitely on the road map but we have no firm implementation dates for anything. ITFlow is volunteer led, contributions are welcome.

I've been waiting for CalDAV implementation for a long time and this is the main brake, because of which I still don't use ITFLow. Any leak of information about the implementation is welcome 😃 I hope the implementation is so close 😛

Have you made any progress on CalDAV integration? I love itflow, but manually transferring everything to calendar is tiring..

Just to make myself crystal clear here, as apparently my previous post didn't: Please stop chasing. It'll get done when it's done.

Seeing you chasing in my inbox so soon yet again is also quite tiring. Unless you're offering some actual support (i.e. Pull requests, or cold hard cash), you can wait patiently. I don't work for you.

Its a very big undertaking pragmatically and unfortunately will require us to rewrite the entire calendar code and its underlying database structure which extend out into the entire Application this deff something I would love to have but would set us back on crucial development time possibly months

Damn, I wish I could have suggested this idea when the application was being created. Look, I just ask my students (and me) to understand that we can't allow ourselves to lock calendars (data) inside one app. Creating app with its own calendar used to be a huge convenience. Today, I and everyone I know avoid solutions that lock data. Nowadays, integrating apps with others is success on the Internet. If you started creating applications today and did not take into account integration with other apps during integration, it would be a big mistake. I know that you got in a lot of effort and it would be unethical to encourage you to start everything from scratch. I'll look from time to time in the hope that you managed to implement CalDav.

I'm sorry you took it that way. That wasn't my intention. I appreciate the work you do. I thought CalDAV would help itflow a lot to promote itself. I didn't mean to be pushy, but I wanted to encourage discussion about CalDAV. It didn't work out well. I'll delete my account so I don't bother you. I believe in your project and that CalDAV will one day be in your application. I'm 69 years old.
