Hi everyone,
I’m new here and loving ITFlow so far—it looks incredibly promising! Thanks to the team and community for this awesome tool. I’ve got a question, though, and couldn’t find any answers in the forums or documentation (sorry if I missed it!).
One big perk of open-source software is the ability to modify and customize it to fit our needs. I’d love to tweak ITFlow—maybe add custom features, adjust the theme, or integrate some unique code—but I’m not sure how to approach this. I know I can submit code to the devs, but they might not be interested in every niche feature (which makes sense given their focus). Giving users a way to develop on their own would be a fantastic alternative—and it could add so much value to the community! A plugin or hook system could unlock tons of new features for all users, like we see in almost every major software out there (think WordPress, Jira, etc.). Is something like that available in ITFlow to add customizations without breaking future updates? I searched around before posting but didn’t spot any guides on this.
Has anyone tackled customizations? If there’s a recommended way (or docs I overlooked), I’d really appreciate a pointer!
Thanks in advance!
