Thank you for swift reply. Yes I do not like switching between php versions and normally I stick with distro supplied one. Of course MariaDB is in use here. I ain't used mysql since debian 8? I think its been few years by now. Currently I am on 10 hence this would require adding custom repos which I do not like.
I shall update to 11 sometimes next year or whenever I will have time and mood for it. Perhaps to 12 once its out.
Well I guess its time to log into pma and dig details directly from db and I would stay for now on php 7
BTW just out of curiosity, what distro you running?
