what php version is ideal to run ITFlow?

Hi all, I am testing ITFlow on my server currently running php 7.3 and it seems to work without issues. However I am in need to install php8 and I am not sure if ITFlow supports it - Im sorry, but I could not find it on docs now in readme or github issues. I mean it would be helpful if someone point me to minimum/maximum requirements for php before I install php 8 (I only need it for my invoicing system so I can move clients data to ITFlow and app updated its core files last night now erroring that I have to run php 8 minimum - automated update via cron meh)

I remember i had some issues with some versions of 8.x, but now using v8.2.6 without any issues so far.

I recall that either 7.4 or 8.0 had some issues at some stage, but i suppose the 8.2.x solved them. so if the server permits, go ahead with 8.2.6

P.S. for best performances, also use MariaDB

Thank you for swift reply. Yes I do not like switching between php versions and normally I stick with distro supplied one. Of course MariaDB is in use here. I ain't used mysql since debian 8? I think its been few years by now. Currently I am on 10 hence this would require adding custom repos which I do not like.

I shall update to 11 sometimes next year or whenever I will have time and mood for it. Perhaps to 12 once its out.

Well I guess its time to log into pma and dig details directly from db and I would stay for now on php 7

BTW just out of curiosity, what distro you running?

i`m using Ubuntu 22.0.4 LTS with MariaDB, PHP 8.2.6 and oufcourse, NGINX :d

I remember on Ubuntu 20.0.4 LTS with latest mysql server and php 7 something… i had issues, so i just created a single VM for itflow
