Unknown column 'role_id'

ITFlow release version25.02.4

Current DB Version1.8.7

if i try to update my ITFLOW version to newest one, i can not do an update because it got an error than Unknown column 'role_id' in 'ON' in /var/www/example.org/includes/check_login.php:45\nStack trace:\n#0

is there any way to fix it? so it does not come to that error?

I restored now my droplett

Trying first via Web interface and than restoring the machine beacause does not work and trying than via Shell again like that option in this post https://forum.itflow.org/d/1849-updating-from-5-month-old-version-to-current-help/9# with help of Open AI.

After that Open AI tells me that there is an option to modify sql with command "ALTER TABLE users ADD COLUMN role_id INT DEFAULT NULL;" because i can than login but got then an error 500 again.

So i can not fix it.

I hope there is a way to fix it because iam now working with the older version like my issue i appologies 🙂

Per https://forum.itflow.org/d/1687-25032-release-stable-warning-do-not-attempt-to-update-via-the-webui you can't use the web ui. Use the CLI script.

@wrongecho got it, the problem was because i did not run the command sudo -u www-data php scripts/update_cli.php --update_db long enough.
