QLVR-IT Hi all, Is it possible to make a (perma)link to a document which always opens the latest, most recent version of that document? A link to a document now looks like: https://itflow.example.nl/client_document_details.php?client_id=1&document_id=342. When I update that document, the updated version has a new URL like https://itflow.example.nl/client_document_details.php?client_id=1&document_id=374 For example, we are using de documentation a lot to write (internal) instructions wich are related to (recurring) tickets. I'd like to put a link in a recurring ticket that always opens the most recent version of a document. Thanks in advance.
wrongecho Not that I'm aware of. The way we do document versioning currently leaves a little to be desired. It's something that needs a little love.
QLVR-IT wrongecho Thanks for your reaction. Is there anything on the roadmap for that? Or should I make a FR of this? Maybe possible (for example) tenerate like a permalink or alias that resolves to the latest version?
johnny This has been implemented. We updated the way document versioning is handled. The document id will remain the same now as of 25.06 release so you may use it as reference point in other documentation.
