Hi @digibandit this should show up under invoice details as long as the primary contact has an email and you have a host filled in under smtp host settings, maybe this invoice doesnt have a contact email listed?

Invoice has been paid, if i select the three dot menu on the invoice page i get the screenshot i sent you.

If i go to the customer's invoice view, or the master invoice view, in list mode, i can select the three dot menu:

So, I'm requesting to have a send email button added to paid invoices.

Its there for me on a paid invoice under invoice details. Goto Admin > Settings > Mail Settings just make sure smtp host is filled in?

Also there is a check on the Invoice Details page to see if your primary contact has an email.

If they don't then it wont show up. Im wondering if thats the case here

Because in the list view it does not check to see if the primary contact has an email

johnny How do you set contacts as primary when you create them via api?

This is the issue, nearly all my clients are being created via n8n now.

Still, would be nice that if there is a single contact client they are default set to important/primary.

For the API make sure you set the contact_primary field to 1 it defaults to 0 but be careful only 1 contact can be a primary contact per client. Im not sure what happens if you have more than 1 but im sure something unexpected.

If you want to add the primary contact via the Web UI just click on the client then go to contact click on a contact that you want to be the primary then select the checkbox primary contact net to their name then save.

johnny Is there an internal check in place to ensure I don't set all contacts as primary? Is there a way to easily check a customers account for pre-existing primary contacts?

I'm only using the API for this, account management via GUI takes too long, too many clicks, too many windows, too many differences based on who and how you click what and where.

digibandit hey. This should be handled by n8n. Where you pull your contact data should be declared what your primary contact is. So n8n will then correctly set it in itflow. Maybe a little bit of Java Script in n8n will Help.
