Feature request - Limit technician access to clients

Hey @compumatter Im glad you dig it and I totally agree we should be using checkboxes instead. This should be pretty easy to implement, If i get a chance tomorrow ill push out another update with the changes.

i thought of an idea to solve your issue compumatter
there should be a switch to toggle between whitelist mode and blacklist mode

right now there is only a whitelist mode, so as you add clients they get "whitelisted"
my suggestion: there should be a blacklist mode, so as you add clients they get "blacklisted" and only the specified clients won't be accessible by the user

Hi @compumatter We just pushed out an update to move from the multi select box to Checkboxes

@Bigbug I like your idea of Whitelist and blacklist, let me think on this one to see how i'm going to implement the whitelist blacklist.

When all unchecked i see everything normal, when I check 1 or more the user no longer sees anything. Is this normal? Client page is white, the left banner does show the number of clients. also on clients.php page then the user at the top right is grayed out and impossible to click on.

I have currently done this manually in the 2 files and it works.

I suspect that the update will become available on Docker soon.

Manually editing files will break your updates as git will fail.

Note that the Docker setup was contributed by a community member, we don't officially support it or manage updates to it any differently. The latest patch should be immediately available as it just looks at the Github repo.

indeed. I just readed in your documentation that docker is unsupported. I deleted the container and the update was included ;-)
