Sharing Documents, Does This Use SMTP or IMAP

It does use SMTP to send the Document out, and absolutely should work

Send me your php error logs correlating with the event of sending the document, something there should tell us whats going on.

Below is what I found in the logs.

helpdesk@getmydomain.com is setup as the IMAP.

noreply@getmydomain.com is setup as the SMTP.

It looks like the SMTP credentials is trying to send on behalf of the IMAP credentials.

I see its because its using the ticket from email address for sending shared links in the code

$mail = sendSingleEmail($config_smtp_host, $config_smtp_username, $config_smtp_password, $config_smtp_encryption, $config_smtp_port, $config_ticket_from_email, $config_ticket_from_name, $item_email, $item_email, $subject, $body);

Don't think it worked fully. Previous error was gone but not getting this in the php logs.

Also getting these repeatedly for today in the logs (not sure how far back they go).

Hi @davesmith87 I fixed the var in mailqueue however both those errors are unrelated. Currently Send Share link does not currently use the new mail queue function and sends the mail the old way which is instant. so it will not show up under mail queue under settings.

Try sending another link out and see what happens

It sends out now. Now I just got to figure out why Microsoft thinks it's phishing. Probably because I never setup the .spf record but that is a Monday problem….
