uhdamm Just noticed the Ticket Email Parser did not pick up anything from our Google IMAP account for about a month. This is the cron error: IMAP settings and APP password didn't change, however the Test IMAP button fails. Is this test reliable? Can't find anything about Google changing IMAP access using APP password either.
johnny yup looks like your missing an update, run check update then update again Curious to what version your on
uhdamm Thanks both. This is the output from the GUI update: git fetch failed: To add an exception for this directory, call: | | git config --global --add safe.directory /var/www/[My FQDN] This is the output from update_cli.php: Updating the application to origin/master HEAD is now at dbf143d77 Merge pull request #1301 from itflow-org/develop The application was already up to date. Database is already at the latest version (2.7.8). No updates were applied.
wrongecho uhdamm At the cli, what do you see if you run: cd /var/www/itflow.yourdomain sudo -u www-data git status
uhdamm wrongecho This is the output: On branch master Your branch is up to date with 'origin/master'. Untracked files: (use "git add <file>..." to include in what will be committed) setup.php.org nothing added to commit but untracked files present (use "git add" to track)
uhdamm Probably a backup I created earlier. Removed. New output: On branch master Your branch is up to date with 'origin/master'. nothing to commit, working tree clean
uhdamm Still get the "git fetch failed" in the update GUI. And still no errors running update_cli.php manually. When running the ticket_email_parser by hand, I get an "Error connecting to IMAP server…. invalid credentials" Got to look into that - but nothing has changed on that part ever since it was set up. Could it be a problem with CRON not running as www-data? Using cron.services on debian.
uhdamm Correction: Was not aware you have to manually clear errors on the Cron page…. Update check now works and everything on the Cron page not disabled, is showing 'Completed'. Thx. …so now I just got to find out why Gmail IMAP suddenly don't work…hmmm.
wrongecho To fix the immediate update problem you can run cd /var/www/itflow.yourdomain sudo -u www-data git pull sudo -u www-data php scripts/update_cli.php - You should have a cron entry at /etc/cron.d/itflow and it should run under www-data itflow-org/itflow-install-scriptblob/main/cron.d-itflow
uhdamm wrongecho Yes, both commands tells me we're up to date. As for CRON, I fo have the itflow file in cron.d folder, as per your link. Just wondering because on the Cron page, it states: Cron last checked in less than a minute ago. * * * * * php /var/www/[MyFQDN]/cron/cron.php >/dev/null I would have expected a www-data user in there….
wrongecho uhdamm Yeah, you should probably have www-data in there, it's needed usually for git to update properly Are you still seeing an error for IMAP/mail parsing?
uhdamm Well, I'll have to look into cron then…. Yes, I get an IMAP error, but by running the email parser manually, I get a bad credentials message. Will have to look into that too. Besides that, I believe I'm good for now, thx.
