We currently use this php function to interpret the phone numbers

$phoneNumber = '+'.$countryCode.' ('.$areaCode.') '.$nextThree.'-'.$lastFour;

$nextThree = substr($phoneNumber, 3, 3);

Hello guys, What if we could choose to not use mask on phone under settings?
at least until the internationalization is ready

Well done @hugo we just merged your code.

In the near future, we'll be implementing an extra field named "country_code" for every phone entry. This field will appear as a dropdown menu next to the phone number input. For instance, selecting "US" will assign the country code "1", resulting in the number being formatted accordingly.

Thus, the function will resemble something like this: format_phone(country_code, phone_number).
