Good morning

Is their a way to set regional formats. i.e local phone number rather then the US format and some fields like zip code to post code ect for UK standard?

Hello there ESN,

Currently, the locale settings are just for the accounting (currency) side of things as far as I'm aware.

This would definitely be nice to have in the future.

Sometime down the line we will update the phone format. Postcode would make more sense as a field name as its compatible with the zip code name and it makes more sense than the word zip.

- Ability for users to customize the address field in invoices to match local standards

Not sure if this has been asked before. Can support for phone numbers from other countries be added (the mask or format that's used)?

In Australia the phone numbers are:

+61 country code
(02) area\state code
9876-5432 phone number (7 or 8 digits)
example: +61 (02) 9876-5432
instead they appear as: +61 (029) 876-5432
We also have 1800 and 1300 and 13 numbers

(for example pizza hut is 13 11 66, NRMA insurance is 1300 317 526, etc)
I also have a customer with employees in Lebanon (different again).

Not sure how easy this is to do, if under localisation I could change the mask to my primary country (Australia) then it would make it a lot easier.

I know in different countries there are different formatting standards for phone numbers. I have found that the phone numbers when entered for Australian locations are being butchered.

Numbers are "+ Country" "(2 digit area code)" "8 digit number" - example: +61 (02) 9999-5550

(mobile\cell phones are all area code 04)

They are being changed to the likes of:

+61 (029) 999-5550; or
+6 (129) 999-5550

details are there but the info is wrong for reports, imports, exports etc

Can the formatting be changed in a config somewhere? or when we select locale for the company can it be changed then (or prompted for us to create our own mask)?

Is there a way to specify custom phone number format? In my country, we use +420 123 456 789

But now it is formatted as +42 (012) 345-6789

Same Problem: +49 (891) 2345678, instead of +49 (089) 1234567 or +49 089 12345

Hello, I'm having trouble with the phone number mask of contacts.

Here in Brazil, the area code and country code, only have 2 digits.
the rigthmask for my number on printscreen, should be: +55 (27) 99274-8329
