Determine the host of a service

Hi, I think it should be an option to determine which asset is hosting the service, currently we can only associate them but couldn't tell who is the host

for example: an office that's using multi-user QuickBooks I make a service called QuickBooks I associate it with any asset/desktop that's hooked up with it and all usernames/passwords, but I also want to know which asset/desktop is hosting QuickBooks.

Also it would be nice to redo the GUI in the "New Service" modal as the assigning process looks a little chunky and dated

I think it might make sense to allow a Roles field under assets. This is where you can specify what the servers services and make it searchable such as Domain Controller, File Server, Mail Server, SQL Server, Web Server etc.

So we use Services completely differently, maybe backwards. We use the Services to outline the different MSAs we have with clients, whether be VOIP, or the different categories of MSP.

psiiota Thats a good way to use services and deff not a wrong way.

We use it For Infrastructure things like Active Directory we add all the assets contacts networks etc that are associatd with that service
