Multiple Taxes

We need to find a way to put multiple taxes on a single line, many MSPs do VOIP service, and to correctly bill for that, there are additional fees and taxes to pay.
I am working on this, but wanted to open it up to other's feedback.

so just to get your input how many taxes can a single item have? for example a VOIP User/Seat

It depends on what state. Here in Texas we have like 4. Some states will be 3. Im sure other countries have other restrictions too.

Im thinking we should do a many to many association to associate taxes with the needed line item. Just not sure how adding the products to the invoices would work..

O wow I mean how do other invoice software you have used do it?

Invoice Ninja was good but not great, they allow for 3. Our VOIP vendor has a specific program they recommend for generating invoices, but thats all. QuickBooks only supports 1 from my experience, I will check and edit though.

If you were to use a single invoice per service, you do have the option to select what tax you should apply, as long you have multiple taxes configured in /settings_taxes.php

so for each item on the invoice, you just select the tax that should apply to it

@aftechro The issue is that there are 4 taxes applied to each item

psiiota that shouldnt be the case, each item can have diferent tax applied, and the total of taxes will be added at the final balance
